About Our Preventative Youth Heart Screenings:

Heart for Athletes provides non-invasive, life-saving screenings with the mission of preventing Sudden Cardiac Arrest in youth.

Each electrocardiogram (ECG) heart screening is interpreted by a pediatric cardiologist or cardiologist volunteering to serve on Heart for Athletes' Medical Advisory Team. These are national and international level experts specifically trained on how to read ECG heart screenings for youth based on the International Criteria.

Heart screening events are not intended for anyone currently under the care of a cardiologist.

The Heart for Athletes heart screening takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Each student will receive a 12-lead ECG and participate in a hands only CPR/AED demonstration.
