This is as close to Alaska as you will get. Platte Bay is absolutely beautiful and worth the drive by itself. Tens of thousands of silver salmon lurk in the depth of East Bay where we fish. Somedays thousands will be splashing around on the surface. This place is magical.

Some days we could be jigging and somedays we can be casting at the mouth of the platte. Somedays we could be doing both. Earlier in the season we might be trolling if Jigging is slow.
