Candy Coding Club

Scratch classes are offered for students ages 8 to 18.

Plus Scratch Jr. classes are now offered for students ages 5 to 9!

No previous Scratch or coding experience is needed to join a Basics- class.

For classes in the Basics- and Intermediate- series, I will teach a different lesson or project every week! Students may join at any time.

For classes in the Advanced- series, the projects become more complex and build upon previous work, so it is advisable to join the cohort from the initial session.

For all classes, a link to the complete script (set of code) will be provided at the end of the lesson for your student to review or "remix". Siblings are welcome under one registration if they work in Scratch at the same level.

Atypical learners ♾️ are welcome. Please advise on any support or accommodations your learner needs prior to their first lesson.

Younger learners may need parents/caregivers to accompany them or stay within earshot to provide technical assistance.

Two devices are needed to participate in this class:

1) a laptop or computer with a keyboard/mouse and access to Scratch and

2) an iPad, tablet, second monitor or computer to view and interact with the class on Zoom.
