Thank you for noticing the value we add to the Textured Hair Community. We have a few standards that are in place to ensure that we can have a mutually honorable experience.
TERMS OF SERVICE & POLICIES
By booking your service with ShimiliaBCares, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions outlined below (the "Terms of Service") and you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all terms, policies and guidelines incorporated in the Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these standards, you should not use our services (as defined in the link) in any way.
The services are available to you once you are in agreement with us and you accept without modification.
DEPOSITS
Once the service is booked, we trust that you are ready to move ahead and as such, we begin preparations for your services. Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, but transferable within 10 days of the initial service date.
If you are unsure as to which service to book or if its a good fit, we suggest that you book a CONSULTATION so you can chat with the expert. This would allow for both of us to be clear moving forward, especially if it's your first time with us. Services may seem straight forward, but each person’s hair scalp and needs are different, and you may require a unique approach.
CONSULTATION
The consultation can be virtual via zoom, you would get an automatic link when you book or in person if you desire. We will reach out within 48hrs of you booking to confirm which you desire. The cost of the consultation is not added to the cost of the next step service as they are two different offers.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
If you are getting the custom color of your dreams, we have a 2 week period before the date required for you to drop off the hair at the salon. A 50% deposit is required to begin your service for color preparation etc.
If you are purchasing hair from us, a full deposit is required for sourcing the hair along with the 50% of the service. If you have any questions, we suggest you book a consult.
CANCELLATIONS
We require a 48hr cancellation/reschedule notice for all appointments, so that we may possibly accommodate the needs of other clients.
If you No Show for their scheduled appointment or do not allow for the requested amount of time to cancel/reschedule the appointment will be charged 100% of the cost. This service fee must be paid before being able to book your next appointment.
If you are running behind, please send a courtesy message to our business line, 954-900-7582. A call may be missed as Shimilia may be with a client. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment you risk having your appointment time rescheduled.
If we are late on our end, we will contact you in advance via message to inform you, if the service has to be rescheduled, you can transfer the deposit to another appointment at time of your convenience. We will honor your time with a complimentary add on to elevate your experience.
HAIR CARE PLANNING
We love a good planner.
First time clients will have access to book 30 days in advance based on availability.
If you are enrolled in our long-term hair care plan, you have access to book 90 days in advance. Send a message if you have any challenges.
PAYMENT
All appointments are reserved with a debit/credit card. Cash, Zelle, and credit/debit cards are accepted forms of payment; however, a 3% surcharge will be applied to card transactions.
ILLNESS
If you become unwell within 24hrs of your appointment, send a courtesy text so we can decide the best option to proceed with your service.
SANITATION
If you are having an extension install, please inform on arrival if you require your extensions to be shampooed, conditioned and dried prior to install. Unwashed extensions will not be installed.
If you have any scalp sores, abrasions or open wounds, its unsure for you and the team to be exposed. We suggested you take precaution and inform us ahead of time.

PLUS ONES
We know you enjoy spending quality time with your loved ones, however we are unable to accommodate anyone one other than the client into the intimate private suite. If you require child services, book a consultation first.
