We have a state-of-the-art studio in central Auckland available to hire for podcast & broadcast audio and video production.
There are two choices for backdrops, black or light. You have your choice of lighting colours too.

A Whisper Room is available for voice-only projects.

During your session, the Studio Engineer will live-switch cameras between the host & guests. After the recording is complete, the engineer will trim and process the audio and video and upload the files to a shared drive, making them easily accessible for you to download. Your video file will be 1920 x 1080. You will be given 3 single camera files too, but if you need the audio synced, this will be $75 + GST

HALF AN HOUR OF SET UP AND PACK DOWN TIME WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR BOOKING AT NO EXTRA CHARGE

The studio hire does not include editing, coaching, social media clips, podcast development or content, graphics, interchangeable sets or publishing. These services can be booked separately. Please see our price list here or enquire at contact@podlab.nz for more information.

Podcast Audio Recording only

1 hour @ NZ$225.00

Record your audio podcast in our studio. The entire room is fitted out with Autex soundproofing panels for a premium, quality sound.
Your audio will be trimmed at the start and end and uploaded to a shared google drive for you to download.

PodLab Studio A

1 hour @ NZ$450.00

Cost breakdown: $391.30 + GST of $58.70 = $450
The studio has a beautiful, round oak table that can seat 4 people comfortably & TV screens for your logo or remote guests.
There are two choices for backdrops, black or light. You have your choice of lighting colours too.
The hire includes audio and a 1920 x 1080 landscape video recording using 3 Black Magic cinema cameras & AT897 Shotgun mics. An Engineer will live-switch between cameras.
You will also receive Single camera files for use in Port

KIDS CAST

30 minutes @ NZ$225.00

Cost breakdown: $195.65 + GST

Bring your kids in to record their very own podcast or interview to post online, or gift to a family member for a birthday or christmas.
Your recording will be available to easily download from our Google drive so you can save it to your own devices and/or upload straight to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or wherever!

The Whisper Room

1 hour @ NZ$150.00

Cost breakdown: $130.43 + GST

This sound isolation booth significantly reduces ambient and acoustic noise, making it an excellent choice if you are looking to avoid background noise while recording audiobooks, e-learning transcripts, or audio for commercials and advertisements.
This booth will help you produce the highest quality audio for your needs.
