Introducing our Christmas Photographer Permits at Riddle Plant Farm in Sand Springs!
We’re thrilled to offer two versatile permit options for the holiday season, perfect for capturing festive family portraits and mini sessions:
The Christmas Tree Lot Permit
This permit provides photographers with access to our covered fresh-cut Christmas tree lot. This area offers an idyllic holiday backdrop under cover, (perfect on rainy days.) Please note: The Christmas Tree Lot Permit will not begin until the trees arrive and will only be available for a limited time (November 25th - December 15th). To ensure plenty of trees are available for your backdrop, it's recommended to book these permits as early as possible after trees arrive; as the season progresses, the display will thin out as the trees sell. This permit does not include access to the Greenhouse Studio.
Greenhouse Studio Permit
Available now through December 22nd, this permit includes full access to our studio within the greenhouse, where seasonal props and holiday decor will be added as the season progresses. Enjoy a cozy space complete with festive decorations to make your sessions memorable. Additionally, once the Christmas Tree Lot opens (November 25th - December 15th) photographers with the Greenhouse Studio Permit will have access to the tree lot at no additional fee, providing a complete holiday experience.
Please note: The Greenhouse Studio is naturally lit, with soft lighting provided from the east in the morning and full west-facing sunlight illuminating the couch in the late afternoon (can be bright/cast shadows). Photographers may bring an assistant, additional lighting, reflectors, diffusers, or other accessories to achieve the perfect look for their sessions. Supplemental lighting is recommended for any times after sunset. We suggest looking up the estimated sunset time for the time you want to book to make sure you are prepared for lighting.
Rules & Guidelines:
- Photographer Responsibility: Professional photographers must book sessions in their own name, and permits are exclusively for photographers.
- Limited Space: To avoid overcrowding, only one family per photographer is allowed in either the Christmas Tree Lot or Greenhouse Studio at a time.
- Timing: Photographers and clients should not enter either area earlier than 5 minutes before their session and must conclude at their designated end time.
- Respect the Farm Setup: Please do not move trees, plants, or props without permission. If adjustments are needed, ask an associate for assistance. Seasonal displays will be updated regularly.
- Pet Policy: Friendly pets are welcome, but dogs that are not cat-friendly should stay home, as our farm cat, Nacho, roams the property. All pets must be leashed, and no animals are allowed on furniture in the Greenhouse Studio.
- Payment: Full payment is required in advance. While refunds are not available, rescheduling is allowed.
- Family-Friendly Environment: All photography at Riddle Plant Farm must uphold family-friendly standards.
- Shared Spaces: Please be mindful and respectful of shared spaces on the farm, as other photographers and visitors enjoy the holiday attractions.
