Bannock County Driver's License

To renew your IDAHO Drivers License. This is NOT for an Out of State license. If you are wanting to add a Star Card REAL ID, the documents needed are:
1. Certified Birth Cert or a valid Passport/Passport Card
2. Certified Marriage Certificate to show Name Change from Birth Cert, if no valid Passport in current name, and
3. Two proofs of current residency from the last year. Utility Bills, Bank/CC Statement, Pay Stub OR W-2, Lease Agreements/Contracts, Property taxes, Vehicle INSURANCE

For first time drivers between the ages of 14 1/2 to 17 years of age.
We will need 1. Certified Birth Certificate, 2. Social Security card or number, 3. School ID card, Passport, or Yearbook, 4. VOC from current school or District Office, 5. Parent that is on the Birth Cert with their VALID Idaho DL or ID

ALL TESTING STOPS AT 4:45 - NO EXCEPTIONS. For O/S Testing you will need: O/S DL, Birth Cert (no copies), SS#, Proof of Residency. For adding the Star Card REAL ID, you would need 2 proofs of Residency. examples: Utility bills, Bank/CC Statement, Pay Stub OR W-2, Property Taxes, Vehicle INSURANCE, Medical bills. For Retesting, must bring 1 of these: Permit, O/S DL, Receipt of Testing. For Name Change or STAR card, Must have Certified Marriage Cert with date of State recording(no copies)

Testing stops at 3:45. Please bring Valid Idaho DL, certified Birth Certificate or current Passport, and 1 proof of Residency. ex: bank statement, utility bill, pay stub.

Must bring in certified Birth Certificate or valid Passport.

Testing stops at 4:45. F1 Applicant must bring: Passport, Current VISA, I-20, Newly printed I-94 (printed copies expire after a Month) SS# or SS Denial Letter, and Proof of Idaho Residency, printed out and dated within the last year
For Out of Country applicants, bring in valid lawful presence documents, EAD Cards, or Perm Resident Cards. Please call our office at #208-236-7258 for correct Documents you must have.

Bring current DL and/or permit with the sealed envelope from your road test(does not apply to CDL).

For any Name Change you must have changed your name with Social Security and have your new card. For marriage, you must have Certified Marriage Certificate with date of State recording. For Divorce, please bring in Divorce Decree. Any other name change you need the certified court documents.

Address Change: no proof is necessary unless it is easier.
For DL/ID replacement there is a form you will need to fill out upon arrival and you will need to know your DL/ID number or your social security number.

This is only to get an IDAHO driving record. Must bring your current DL. We can give a 3 year record or an entire record.

With current out of state ID-bring in state certified birth cert, 2 forms of proof of residency, social security card or number, and the out of state ID card. Over 18 w/ no out of state ID-bring in state certified birth cert, 2 forms of proof of residency, social security card or number and a form of photo(ex. old school ID card, yearbook photo, tribal ID, etc.) Under 18-bring in state certified birth cert, social security card or number, and school ID card.
