Before making an appointment, please take a few minutes to review our new changes to this VITA site. We are introducing a convenient 'Drop-Off Site' procedure this tax season. After your interview, you can leave your tax documents with us and return later to pick up your prepared tax return. This means you no longer must wait for your tax return to be prepared. The Drop-Off Site will enable us to assist more taxpayers and significantly reduce the wait time, ensuring a smoother and more efficient process for everyone.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we cannot prepare tax returns for foreign students and nonresidents this year.
If a "Drop-Off" works for you, please review the website (see link below) for the tax return preparation service, including the type of tax returns we prepare and the documents you need to bring to the site. We have limited space. Therefore, please only make one appointment at a time to allow other taxpayers to make an appointment. To make an appointment, click our website's 'Make an Appointment' button. The site coordinator will delete duplicate appointments.

SMC VITA is available every Saturday from March 1 through April 5, 2024, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The last appointment is at 1 p.m. Remember, we serve taxpayers with appointments only, so it's crucial to make an appointment as soon as possible to secure your spot.
