INSURANCE COVERAGE
While BFS can not guarantee that class costs will be covered by your particular insurance plan, your insurance might cover the cost of this service.
Use Registration Code VERIFYINSURANCE if you have Aetna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthSmart or HEB Blue Cross Blue Shield, or ARC Employee Health Plan.
Using the VERIFYINSURANCE registration code means we will submit the claim to your insurance company. If the claim is rejected, you will be billed after the class and are responsible ONLY for costs not covered which will not exceed the listed class fee.
Please note these exclusions/exceptions:
- How to Make a Birth Plan, Virtual Infant CPR & Safety class, and Birthing Partner Prep classes are excluded from the VERIFYINSURANCE registration code.
- Virtual classes are not covered by United or Ascension SmartHealth plans.
- Some BCBS plans require a referral from your PCP (NOT OB/GYN). Please contact your plan provider to verify your benefits.

Cancellations made less than 3 days in advance for our in person classes are subject to a $25 late cancellation fee.
