Acupuncture Follow-Up Appointment (short)

25 minutes @ A$60.00

Less time needs to be spent discussing your progress if you're coming in more than once a week, so a short appointment may be appropriate for the second/third treatments.
Short appointments are not appropriate if you haven't seen Jay in more than 6 weeks - please check with Jay prior to booking if you're unsure.
Short acupuncture appointments will not include Tui Na (massage) due to time constraints.

Acupuncture Follow-Up Appointment for Child Under 12

25 minutes @ A$55.00

Children (under age 12) don't require as long to treat as adults. They respond more quickly as their Qi flow is more dynamic (kids are pretty much pure Yang). And their attention spans & tolerance for strangers in their personal space tends to be shorter.

This appointment is suitable for children up to & including age 12 years. A combination of acupuncture & tuina is generally used.

Acupuncture Follow-Up Appointment

55 minutes @ A$100.00

At every appointment, Jay will start by having a chat with you about your progress - to make sure you're on track toward achieving the outcomes that matter most to you.
Before you know it, you'll be relaxing on the table... allowing yourself to focus on you and the process of improving your state of health (rather than everything else that usually demands your attention).
Standard acupuncture appointments are able to incorporate Tui Na (massage) as deemed appropriate by Jay.

Acupuncture Initial Appointment

1 hour 25 minutes @ A$170.00

Initial appointments take a bit more time. You deserve a health practitioner who takes the time to listen, gather a thorough case history, examine areas as required, figure out a treatment plan that addresses your concerns and steers you toward the desired outcomes... plus allows time for a full treatment on top of all this.
Please bring any reports, scans or referrals from other practitioners that you feel may be relevant or of assistance.
Tui Na (massage) forms a component of most initial treatments.

Acupuncture Initial Appointment for Child Under 12

55 minutes @ A$135.00

A full case history's taken at initial appointments, so please bring any test/scan results you feel are relevant with you. Treatment time on young children isn't as long as adults & older children as needles aren't retained long (if at all). Adjunctive therapies such as tuina may be incorporated into treatments.

This appointment type's appropriate for children up to age 12. For older children, please book the 85min Acupuncture Initial Appointment (concession 10% discount will be applied in clinic)

Chi Nei Tsang is massage specifically for the abdominal organs. You get your skeletal muscles massaged to improve their circulation and function. The muscle tissue of internal organs benefits from massage similarly.

Chi Nei Tsang can be used for helping to release emotional blocks as well as physical ones.

Pregnancy Massage Appointment

Rather than just rubbing sore spots, Jay uses remedial massage (tuina) to release muscles and balance the nervous system, nurturing both you and your bub.

Tui Na Follow Up Appointment (short)

All Tui Na appointments include a consultation.
A short appointment's suitable for treating a single small area (e.g. a sore wrist, knee or elbow). Or for when your stress levels are so high you know you need to do something, but half an hour's as much self-time as you can find right now.
Experiencing discomfort that involves a few parts of your body (this includes back pain & internal issues such as digestion, headaches, mood disorders & fatigue)? A longer (standard) appointment is recommended.

Tui Na Follow Up Appointment (standard)

All Tui Na appointments include a consultation.

All Tui Na appointments include a consultation. At your initial appointment, this process takes a little longer than in follow-ups; hence why a half hour's just not enough to fit everything in.
