Resource guarding is when a dog behaves aggressively or defensive in order to keep you away from a particular item or “resource” that they perceive as valuable to them. The resource can be food, treats, toys, a place, like a bed or favourite chair, or occasionally even a person. Either way, it is something that needs to be address so that it doesn't escalate.
This is a program where you will be shown the basic tools to work with via 4 visits.
