This service is a thorough, comprehensive eye examination conducted by an independent, licensed Doctor Of Optometry. This service includes a refraction for glasses and a thorough ocular health evaluation. This service does not include a contact lens evaluation. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the appointment. This service is intended for patients new to contact lens wear. This service includes a pair of trials, proper hygiene education, Insertion and Removal training and subsequent follow ups and assistance.

This service includes but not limited to: Emergency Medical Eye Care, Follow Up Appointments, Eye Dilation and Prescription Re-Evaluations (for existing patients only). If you are a new patient to us, please understand that a prescription for glasses (distance or near) will not be assessed or given at this visit. You must have a Comprehensive Eye Examination first. *Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this rule*

This comprehensive service includes: same day spectacle lens prescription, full ocular health evaluation and a contact lens refitting and prescription (depending on availability of trials) . Please note that this service is not available at the Bentall Tower location and does not pertain to multi-focal or new contact lens patients. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the appointment. This service includes a health screening and an updated spectacle prescription for seniors age 65 and up. This service is covered by Alberta Health Care with a valid Alberta Health Care Card.
